India-SL World Cup Final Fixed? Leaked initial predictions/fixing details pretty much accurate!

Got an email recently with the following details on April 1st(Yeah, that date has been the glitch in this being the April fool's day, but after the series of events that took place, I only thought this appropriate to bring to everyone's notice):

Sri Lanka -> Batting first -> 75/4 -> 270-273 runs finally.

Sehwag out in first over(Paid Rs 23 Cr.in Swiss bank)
Sachin will also be out soon (No payments for he is sincere)
India will win with a 6 in last over, for which Sri Lanka is paid 251 Cr.

While it wasn't 75/4 for Sri Lanka, the other details still stand pretty close!

I ain't a believer of any kind of fixing. In fact, I had recently written about this very human tendency of beleiving in such rumours here. But the coincidence of initial events as it can be said has forced me to bring up this topic!

Now whatever be the case, I'd be happy if the final prediction/decision/fixing proves to be correct!:P

Can Sachin make a Century of centuries in the final? & also be Man of the Series?

After having most unparalleled records under his name, can Sachin do it yet again? Can he make a century of centuries in the World Cup Final 2011?

Rumour has it that the reason why Sachin apparently gave up his wicket after 6 lives in the match at Mohali against Pakistan is that he didn't want his 100th century to come out of such a sluggish innings. He'd rather prefer it to be one of the most clean & perfect innings.

This milestone, if achieved by Sachin in the finals does not seem to be reachable in the near future by anyone, the closest being our very own disappointed Punter, Ricky Pointing with 69 hundreds(tests + one days).

Moreover, Sachin is just 3 runs behind the leading run scorer of the World Cup, T. Dilshan of Sri Lanka. They both along with Yuvraj Singh for his all round performance are the front runners for the "Man of the Series Award". I don't want to rule out the bowlers but the leading wicket taker, Shahid Afrid is already back home and unless exceptional, it is difficult to give the award to player from non-finalist team. Only if Zaheer Khan takes a good haul will he be able to cross Shahid Afridi as the leading wicket taker in the world cup 2011 to join the race for "Man of the World Cup".

So which feather will Sachin add to his already beautified hat in this world cup(which seems to be his last World Cup as well)!

India's win over Pakistan was leaked beforehand - Numb3rs had it all ;)

Following had already decided the outcome of the India-Pakistan match - "The Mother of all Cricket Matches"

Whatever may be the case in matches other than world cup, India has won all 4 world cup encounters between India-Pakistan. India definitely knows to keep its nerves when the situation demands. Though the situation demands everytime, it is the cup that counts! Hope the "Law of Averages" does not catch up in future with this untarnished 5-0 stat of India-Pak in the World Cups.

Sachin has played in all 4 scoring 54*, 31, 45 and 98. (Man of the match in 2 of them). After all, there's a reason for Sachin's 6 lives ;) and the corresponding Man of the Match.

The only factor going against India was that of the previous matches played at Mohali against Pakistan. But that also was covered up since none of those matches were D/N matches and in these, India has had an upper hand overall.

Ofcourse the statistics considered are biased and this is how we do "Hence Proved" in this subject ;)

While the world cup final is yet not over, rumour is that the TRP of Indo-Pak match will be unmatched!

Mohali Match was fixed. GUL is the main suspect!

Isn't the title what we would expect from Pakistani Ministers, media etc. after the Mohali defeat in World cup! And why not, the Pakistani players are themselves to blame having tainted themselves recently with so many allegations of match fixing(the spot-fixing scandal in particular). Even cricketers like Malik have jumped into the allegations battle now! Weren't there already enough people for that.

But then there are other reasons to claim that the match was fixed. That just saves them on the grounds that if it wasn't fixed, the result would have been different. Atleast something for them to say when the other person claims India to be superior.

No, Pakistanis aren't the ones to blame. This has become a sort of human tendency. We don't want to accept defeat and prefer searching(in fact digging out) some reason that would save us from accepting the obvious.

Can't the game be played on and off the field in the spirit of the game? After all, it's just a game!
